The Placings…
Not too shaby! Entered 6 items and placed in all 6 catagories. Third on my first adult cardigan the Wicked Cardi, second on my Foliage Hat, Shetland Triangle Shawl, Baby Surprise Cardigan, and my hand spun, and first on my Spring Forward Socks.
That makes three years running! I already have some thoughts on next year’s socks. We’ll have to wait and see how those turn out.
Here is some progress on my Express Lane Socks.
This is a very fun and elegant pattern. It’s a seven row repeat and very easy to knit. The other socks I am working on might be a gift, so I’ll leave them off the blog for now.
I have some good news/bad news: Good news is I got a Dr. appt. for my back and neck pain. Bad news is it’s not until the 19th as my Dr. is on vacation. I am going to have to grin and bear it through this next dye batch. I hope to dye yarn on Thursday, so stay tuned for a weekend update.

Yay! That’s awesome. Gosh I really love those socks! I’m gonna have to go look at that pattern now…
I hope you get everything fixed, I need to go to the dr for mine too, I’ve been really bad about it. You’d think the pain would be enough…
