Starting to Feel Like Christmas…

We received a few huge packages yesterday in the mail, they where from our very best friend MJ & Fey. Not know if we should wait until Christmas, I touched base with MJ later in the evening for permission to open. She’d also received the packages from us (which was amazing considering they mailed Saturday) and so we opened over ther phone, which was nice.

As always MJ & Fey spoiled us rotten. Sean received at great gift card to Gamestop (which is exactly what he wanted!). The yarn is just beautiful, all 1700+ yards of it! She purchased it locally and it will be in my Ravelry stash soon. The sheep is just the cutest ever! The towel is hand cross-stitched and just amazing! My mom also received on, though it’s Christmas themed ( I already to her it is not to be used, but rather to be passed on to her dotting daughter [that'd be me]).

Peanut opened his gifts this morning and boy was he spoiled! He’s very excited to go home tonight and play with all his new Thomas toys. He says “Thank you Auntie MJ and Uncle Fey”.  :) (But it was way too much. That box was huge. BAD. You just wait, when you have kids…

Seans Coat

Sean's Coat

As promised here are photos of Sean in his new winter coat (and his pj’s haha). It’s the brand Liquid, which I’d never heard of but seems nice. It will help to keep him warm on the road. His old coat was on it’s last arm, seriously.
And finally, I have new yarn to share! I purchased a skein of Vesper Sock from Knitterly Things and it’s amazing. I already want more!

This yarn is hand dyed as self-striping. That is a lot of work people. The base is Louet Gems like and is very soft and squishy. I am looking forward to knitting these for sure!
Tonight I’ll be trading gifts with BiL’s GF and then home to bake and cook and wrap and clean. And drink. Red wine. ;)
